I met Don @ TK Caine Training Centre 12 years ago when I had my first miniature schnauzer “Charcoal”. Don has provided me with valuable advice on dog care, grooming and being a responsible owner by ensuring my dog was well trained. Don is patient, resourceful, and knowledgable of various training techniques and methods. His training is individualized to address the needs of both the owner and the dog. Don’s training is “leadership” based, ensuring that the dog’s response to obedience commands are consistent. Behaviours such as barking, housetraining, aggressiveness and fearfulness were effectively addressed and corrected. Charcoal lived a full happy life and volunteered as a Therapy Dog with St. John Ambulance visiting senior care homes for many years. When “Oyster” joined our family last December, we contacted Don immediately to schedule training. Oyster has just completed the Advanced Training Sessions, as a 10 month old puppy, he has already mastered many basic commands, and is completely reliable off leash. We continue to attend the weekly socialization class to increase his confidence and solidify his training. We also look forward to joining the agility training course in the future as the last it was so much fun!Sarah & Tim
